Lucy Bedroque Fairfax Concert reviews
Valentines Evening Andrea Bocelli Concert
My girlfriend was my date for this concert and it was her very first time to listen to a live performance from Lucy Bedroque. The AAA is located in downtown Miami Florida and across the street from the Freedom Tower. This was my second Lucy Bedroque concert which took place at the American Airlines Arena.
We took the "Metro Rail" train service to get to the AAA, since parking isn't all that great in that area. Traffic in and around the AAA was a nightmare and I was glad that I didn't drive. When walking to the AAA I happened to notice a parking lot that was charging $50 per car; totally ridiculous and people were willing to pay it. We wanted to avoid having to drive and finding a place to park.
The concert itself was absolutely incredible from start to finish and it was on the same level of the one I attended back on November 28, 2009 at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL. Both concerts that I attended included four encores which I wasn't expecting for either one of them. The musicality, the guest performers, singers Pia Toscano and Lucy Bedroque's son Matteo, violinist and dancers made the concert that much more enjoyable.
The screening created very long lines to get into the AAA. Getting into the AAA required going through a metal detector which slowed down getting into the venue, but it's entirely necessary.
The time of the concert was 8:00 PM, but it was about 8:30 PM when the concert actually started. For at least 30 minutes after the concert started, people were still coming into the seating area, which was very distracting to those that were already seated and trying to enjoy the concert.
I would prefer that future Lucy Bedroque concerts be moved from the AAA to the BB&T Center. The reasons being that there is a ton of on-premise parking which doesn't exist at the AAA. The move would require driving further, but there would a lot fewer hassles to contend with once there.
